Now, when I wipe my workstation and re-install Delphi 7, I have to ask for permission to use it, in the form of product activation. Yeah.... some freedom. So I went back to Delphi 5. Your explorer is NOT a replacement, it's just a come-on for the full product. It won't even accept components from 3rd party vendors. And... yes, I do remember the original spirit of Borland... with Turbo Pascal 2... it was very very cool...
